Toshiba started its history in 1882 with two different strands. One was an engineering work and the other was Japan’s first manufacturer of incandescent lamps. It wasn’t till 1939 that the two companies came together and was officially called Toshiba in 1978.

Toshiba and Carrier Corporation formed a partnership in 1998. They focus on manufacturing and developing air conditioning systems. The partnership also allows them to market HVACs under both Carrier and Toshiba globally.
For over 10 years, Toshiba has been carbon neutral. They were the first UK HVAC supplier to achieve this. They aim to reduce customers’ carbon footprint by over 1 gigaton by 2030. Toshiba makes sure you are getting a good product whilst lowering your environmental impact.
